Ron Paul Rally

Last Friday, the 18th, we attended a rally for Ron Paul in downtown Charleston. We took Anna Ruth because she has been constantly saying "politician" and "Ron Paul" and "change", so we were hoping she would yell something out. As you can imagine, there were countless Ron Paul signs, and some so huge we just had to get a picture with Anna Ruth as a comparison.
There was a nice turnout and everyone was pretty loud and excited. Ron Paul did a great job of talking about all the issues, but spent most of his time on the economy and the war. He especially emphasized how he would fight for the POWs who have been left in other countries.
After his speech, we waited in line to shake his hand, get an autograph, and get a picture with him. Unfortunately with these things, everything is so rushed, so we didn't get a chance to ask him any questions. When the night was over, though, we were even more convinced that he was the best candidate. Go Ron Paul!

Not too bad a day in Iowa...

... for Ron Paul, the taxpayer's, homeschooler's, and pro-lifer's best friend. He whupped up on Giuliani and was statistically neck-and-neck with Thompson and McCain (my 2nd and 3rd choices). Meanwhile, the theologically and fiscally liberal Huck-ocrite won the day, with the guy I can't trust in second.
