Ron Paul Rally

Last Friday, the 18th, we attended a rally for Ron Paul in downtown Charleston. We took Anna Ruth because she has been constantly saying "politician" and "Ron Paul" and "change", so we were hoping she would yell something out. As you can imagine, there were countless Ron Paul signs, and some so huge we just had to get a picture with Anna Ruth as a comparison.
There was a nice turnout and everyone was pretty loud and excited. Ron Paul did a great job of talking about all the issues, but spent most of his time on the economy and the war. He especially emphasized how he would fight for the POWs who have been left in other countries.
After his speech, we waited in line to shake his hand, get an autograph, and get a picture with him. Unfortunately with these things, everything is so rushed, so we didn't get a chance to ask him any questions. When the night was over, though, we were even more convinced that he was the best candidate. Go Ron Paul!

That's so cool!

We got a phone call from Ron Paul (well, it was a recorded message) inviting us to a rally in south Houston. Unfortunately it was too long of a drive, but I am very jealous that you guys got to meet him and get a picture with him.

The message of freedom doesn't stop just because he may not get elected this year. The future will see more candidates like Dr. Paul who will develop an even stronger following than he did!
